Make an Impact with a Planned Gift
Option 1: WILL. You may make a bequest to the Quitman Lake Country Charitable Foundation by preparing a new will or adding a codicil (or amendment) to you present will. To guarantee that your exact intentions are followed , wills and codicils should be prepared with the advice of your attorney.
Option 2: LIFE INSURANCE. You can also make a bequest by way of a life insurance policy or a designated portion thereof.
By preparing a will or designating a life insurance policy,
you are ensuring that your assets are distributed to the people and institutions that are most important to you.
A charitable bequest is deductible for federal estate-tax purposes with no limit on the amount of deduction.
Charitable bequests generally are not subject to state inheritance or federal estate taxes. Often the tax savings can be substantial.
